What is the furniture made from?
Our furniture is made from Indonesian mahogany. Solid mahogany furniture produces stunning antique
reproductions and provides strong and
practical furniture for everyday use in the home.
All of our furniture is handmade.
Each piece of furniture is individually hand carved from solid wood. All
joints are dovetailed and even the backs and bases of the furniture are
crafted from solid mahogany.
Can I view before I buy?
Yes. We do not have a high street showroom (another factor in keeping
prices low). But we do invite you to visit our large family home,
located in Bourganeuf (dept 23), central France. We run a luxury bed and
breakfast from our home and it is furnished exclusively with Le Verger
Furniture. A visit to our home will enable you to view a large selection of
our furniture in actual room sets. Please contact us to arrange an
appointment.
How do I place an order?
Contact us with the reference number(s), colour
and finish of the furniture you would like to purchase. We’ll check the
stock availability and telephone/email you straight back.
Is VAT included the price?
Yes. We are a French registered company and all of our listed prices
include VAT at 19.6%
How do I pay for my order?
We accept payments in Euro and Sterling currencies. Methods
of payment accepted are cheques and bank transfers (both in Euro or Sterling
currency), and Euro cash. We also accept all major credit cards via ‘Paypal’
(this incurs a 3.5% surcharge). Paypal payments are to be made in Euro
currency.
We request a deposit of 30% at the time of order and the
balance is due around 10 days before delivery of the furniture.
What if I am not completely satisfied with my furniture?
Contact us within 7 days of receipt of your furniture,
return the furniture to us and within 30 days we will give you a full refund
(with the exception of the fees for returning the goods).
